Who We Are...

ACCESS/RI is a broad-based, non-profit freedom of information coalition dedicated to improving citizen access to the records and processes of government in Rhode Island. Founded in 1996, ACCESS/RI is affiliated with the A. Alfred Taubman Center for Public Policy and American Institutions at Brown University, and is a member of the National Freedom of Information Coalition (NFOIC). Through continuing programming, research and advocacy, ACCESS/RI strives to keep the “right to know” at the top of the public-policy agenda. This Web site is offered as a public service.
